Eric Shutt

Eric Shutt is a Senior Director of Strategy, passionate about the role of culture in brand, marketing and digital strategy. His background spans the world of advocacy and policy, agencies, and consulting work for clients from national non-profits to consumer brands and Fortune 100 companies. With a background in political science, psychology and commercial marketing, he’s worked across the policy, advocacy, small business, and enterprise commercial brands.

Eric has led digital, strategy and account teams for clients like SiriusXM, Rackspace, The Washington Post, and Capital One to nonprofits such as Interfaith Alliance, RAC, BBYO, Active Minds, Pathways to Housing, The Community Foundation, National Bonsai
Foundation, and Seafarers International Union.

Eric has managed and led large teams, clients, and strategy on projects, accounts and campaigns including large-scale, complex website design-builds, agency-of-record enterprise social media management & strategy, and large teams coordinating large-scale marketing and event logistics.

He’s presented at conferences across the U.S. including Digital Summit Series, Mid-Atlantic Marketing Summit, and even at the US Pentagon. Deeply analytical and results-driven, Eric has led data analysis and paid media teams to conduct analysis, develop data-based insights, and continually optimize creative strategy for maximum impact.

When he's not thinking deeply about the cultural experience strategy behind your next big campaign, you can find Eric backcountry skiing and tandem bike touring the US.
