Catalyzing funding for environmental activists on the frontline
The Goldman Environmental Foundation partnered with Rad Campaign to create a striking new website that powers their global grantee program for climate solutions.
Our Strategy
The Goldman Environmental Foundation, which administers the Goldman Environmental Prize, the world’s most prestigious award for emerging grassroots environmental activists, sought out a first-rate digital agency to re-envision and rebuild their website.
Goldman selected Rad Campaign and we immediately got to work in laying the foundation to build a vibrant website and illustrate how they fueled funding where it was needed most: people on the frontline who take extraordinary actions and risk their lives to protect our planet.
The Foundation wanted to show the faces behind the environmental work and give other funders, policymakers, journalists, scientists, and NGO’s a lens into their impact and revolutionary model for climate solutions. Our data-driven analysis and review of analytics, SEO, heat mapping results, and audience research also confirmed that this was the user experience (UX) that would most resonate with target audiences.
Rad Campaign rebuilt the Foundation’s website from the ground up, reworking its back end, overhauling their confusing taxonomy, and creating a visual design system that worked in tandem with their need to build flexible and beautiful landing pages on the fly.
The result: A striking website with a bold new visual identity that also provided the building blocks for the Goldman Environmental Prize’s overarching communications strategy and digital marketing.
